A collective wedding themed "Hand in Hand, Youth Advancing Together" was romantically held in Xiong'an New Area on May 20, 2026. Fifteen couples tied the knot in a ceremony that was not only a celebration of their union but also a vivid reflection of Xiong'an's efforts to build a youth-friendly city and optimize its talent ecosystem.
Jointly organized by the Xiong'an New Area Party-Mass Work Department, the Federation of Trade Unions, the Youth League Working Committee, the Women's Working Committee, and supported by various social forces, the event created a moving chapter for "Wonderful Youth Xiong'an."
At 8:58 AM in Yuerong Park, filled with joy, the couples walked hand in hand to the ceremony site to the melody of the original AI theme song "City Bears the Original Heart, Love Starts the Future." Their happy expressions were set against the expansive and meticulously arranged city skyline, sketching a unique romantic vista for the "City of the Future."
From the regular "Xiongcai Plan · Jianjia Series" matchmaking events to this multi-party collaborative wedding, Xiong'an New Area has demonstrated through comprehensive services and tangible warm actions that it can provide a broad stage for youth to pursue their careers and also support their happy lives, making "where the heart finds peace is home" a living reality.
Guided by the host, the couples performed traditional bows and the "Que Shan" ceremony. The vows, "First bow to heaven and earth, respecting national peace; second bow to parents, thanking them for upbringing; bow to each other, promising a lifetime together," echoed through the park. The traditional rituals were revitalized and endowed with contemporary meaning, as the couples are not only life partners but also builders growing and creating the future alongside Xiong'an.
Among the fifteen couples were scientific researchers relocated from Beijing, Party member couples working on the front lines of construction, healthcare workers safeguarding public health, and community workers serving at the grassroots level.
