Shaanxi Provincial Government Signs Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with PetroChina, Sinopec, and CNOOC to Jointly Build Xi'an Shiyou University

Recently, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation framework agreement to jointly build Xi'an Shiyou University was held at the university, bringing together the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and three major energy corporations: PetroChina Company Limited (601857), China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (600028), and Cnooc Limited (600938).

Attending the event were Dai Binbin, Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province; Duan Liangwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of PetroChina; Zhong Ren, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Sinopec; and Huo Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CNOOC, who signed the joint construction agreement and delivered speeches.

This signing represents a strategic decision based on complementary advantages and mutual benefit among the government, enterprises, and the university, aimed at jointly elevating the university's educational level and injecting new momentum into the transformation and upgrading of Shaanxi's energy industry as well as the high-quality development of the nation's energy sector.
