Airbus has announced that it has agreed to acquire French cybersecurity company Quarkslab, a move aimed at continuously strengthening its capabilities in the security sector.
The French aerospace group stated that this proposed investment is part of its strategy to build autonomous and controllable cybersecurity capabilities within France and to enhance its standing across the European cybersecurity industry. The company had previously acquired Germany's Infodas in 2024 and also plans to acquire UK-based Ultra Cyber Ltd.
Airbus indicated that the transaction is expected to be finalized within 2026.
