As the spring recruitment season arrives, large-scale job fairs are being held across various regions. Recently, Beijing hosted its first major spring recruitment event of the year, featuring over 480 companies offering more than 20,000 positions. It has been observed that industries such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and smart hardware are experiencing steady growth in hiring demand this year, with many core positions facing intense competition for talent. According to the latest data, the average monthly salary for artificial intelligence engineers has reached 20,804 yuan.
Unlike previous years, more than half of the companies participating in this year's spring recruitment have established roles related to robotics, artificial intelligence, and other technological innovations. The job fair catered to both fresh graduates and experienced professionals, with many employers emphasizing the importance of strong specialized skills among candidates. Additionally, 12 specialized experience zones were set up at the event, covering areas such as drones, the pet economy, and artificial intelligence, allowing job seekers to gain a clearer understanding of the prospects and requirements in these emerging fields.
The rise of "human-machine collaboration" in the workplace is becoming increasingly evident. In many technology companies in Beijing, employees are now working alongside digital colleagues to accomplish tasks. Proficiency in AI and the ability to utilize AI tools have become essential skills for professionals, driving continued growth in demand for related roles. Fu Qiang, an AI technical expert at a Beijing-based tech firm, shared that he no longer works alone but collaborates with five digital employees to complete his assignments.
Fu Qiang, Chief AI Expert for the Pan-Consumer Industry at Feishu, explained, "One of my digital employees, named Rui Rui, specializes in helping me improve the quality of reports. I record my client meetings daily, and my digital employee then evaluates the presentation to ensure that the solutions meet the client’s needs."
Recent statistics indicate that artificial intelligence engineers currently command the highest average monthly salary at 20,804 yuan, followed by chip engineers, mobile R&D engineers, and software R&D engineers, with monthly earnings of 17,790 yuan, 16,624 yuan, and 15,816 yuan, respectively.
