CAOCAO INC is planning to establish an independent AI business unit to comprehensively advance the implementation of the company's AI strategy. The company has recently posted a job opening for a "Chief AI Officer" on recruitment platforms, with a total compensation package exceeding 10 million yuan.
According to the job description, the Chief AI Officer role is not a conventional technical leadership position commonly found in traditional tech companies. This role is responsible not only for the implementation of AI technology applications but will also participate in formulating the company's AI transformation direction, promoting ecosystem partnerships, building industry influence, and driving the company's upgrade from a traditional mobility platform to an intelligent mobility service infrastructure for the AI era.
Furthermore, the Chief AI Officer will be tasked with building the AI organization and talent pipeline: establishing and managing AI algorithm and engineering teams to build a high-caliber technical team capable of tackling tough challenges; promoting AI literacy improvement across the entire company, cultivating core technical talent and future managers, and providing organizational support for the company's sustained AI capability development.
In April of this year, CAOCAO INC was approved as the first company in Hangzhou authorized to conduct Robotaxi unmanned road testing, officially entering the unmanned testing phase for its business. Recently, the company announced a strategic cooperation with Shanghai International Automobile City, planning to deploy 100 Robotaxi vehicles in Shanghai within the year to accelerate the large-scale implementation of its Robotaxi business in key first-tier cities.
Public information shows that CAOCAO INC has developed a trinity Robotaxi ecosystem encompassing "intelligent custom vehicles + intelligent driving technology + intelligent operations," forming a closed-loop system with all essential elements, which provides a stronger foundation for large-scale operations and commercial implementation.
It is worth noting that CAOCAO INC was deeply involved in the product definition and R&D of China's first natively developed Robotaxi prototype vehicle, "Eva Cab." This vehicle is scheduled to debut at the 2026 Hong Kong Auto Expo. According to the company's plan, the deeply customized CAOCAO INC Robotaxi is set for mass production in 2027, with a cumulative deployment target of 100,000 vehicles by 2030.
