Joyson Electronic's Hong Kong IPO Prospectus Lapses After Six Months

Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp.'s application for a Hong Kong initial public offering has officially expired, according to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange website. The Shanghai-listed automotive technology provider submitted its prospectus on January 16, 2023, with the six-month validity period concluding on July 16.

China International Capital Corporation (CICC) and UBS Group AG served as joint sponsors for the proposed listing. Specializing in intelligent automotive solutions, the company currently trades on the Shanghai Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of 25.089 billion yuan (approximately $3.46 billion) as of the latest data.

The expiration of the prospectus indicates the automative supplier must refile documentation should it pursue a Hong Kong listing in the future. The company maintains its primary listing status in Shanghai under stock code 600699.
