On September 22, the 2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises release conference was held in Tianjin, where Tongwei Group was included in both the "2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises" and "2026 China Top 500 Private Manufacturing Enterprises" lists, ranking first among the Sichuan-based companies on the lists.
The "China Top 500 Private Enterprises" list is produced on the basis of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce's survey of large-scale private enterprises, ranked in descending order of total annual operating revenue. It is the most authoritative and comprehensive list in China's private economy sector and is regarded as the "barometer" of China's private economy. This year, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce organized the 28th survey of large-scale private enterprises, with a total of 6,350 companies that had operating revenue of more than 1 billion yuan in 2025 participating. Among them, the top 500 by operating revenue make up the 2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises.
The 500 private enterprises on this year's list reported total operating revenue of 44.93 trillion yuan, up 4.35% from the previous year. A total of 110 companies had operating revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan, an increase of 5 from the previous year, while 12 companies had operating revenue exceeding 500 billion yuan, an increase of 1. A total of 99 companies had total assets exceeding 100 billion yuan, an increase of 2, while 17 companies had total assets exceeding 500 billion yuan, an increase of 1. Among the Top 500 Private Enterprises, 29 companies were included in this year's Fortune Global 500 list.
Ranked on the "2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises" list, Tongwei was also included in the "2026 China Top 500 Private Manufacturing Enterprises" list, placing first among the Sichuan-based companies on the lists.
