The revenue ranking of the world's top ten semiconductor foundries for the fourth quarter of 2025 has been released.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) maintained its leading position with revenue of $33.7 billion and a market share of 70.4%, driven by growth in 3nm and AI chips.
Samsung Foundry and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) secured the second and third spots, respectively, with SMIC being the top-ranked foundry from mainland China.
GlobalFoundries and Tower Semiconductor showed impressive quarter-over-quarter growth rates, reaching 8.4% and 11.1%, respectively.
Vanguard International Semiconductor and Nexchip Semiconductor Corporation experienced a quarter-over-quarter decline in revenue.
Three companies from mainland China—Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, Hua Hong Semiconductor, and Nexchip Semiconductor Corporation—entered the top ten.
Overall, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing's dominant position remains solid, but the industry is still expected to face pressure from end-market demand in 2026.
