On November 19, it was announced that the Zhangjiawan Design Town Zhihui Park has been officially designated as the "Zhongguancun (Tongzhou) Future Design Industrial Park," adding another municipal-level specialized industrial park under the "Zhongguancun" brand to Beijing's sub-center. Recognized for its industrial clustering effect, professional service system, and clear development positioning, the park was recently awarded the title of "Zhongguancun Specialized Industrial Park" for 2025 by the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Administrative Committee.
Located adjacent to the Urban Green Heart Forest Park, the Zhongguancun (Tongzhou) Future Design Industrial Park has developed two key industrial focuses: creative design and urban technology (AI+). Currently, 70% of its tenant companies specialize in robotics R&D, urban technology, and creative design.
As a pivotal hub connecting industrial chains and fostering innovation in Zhangjiawan Design Town, the park has attracted 116 enterprises, including Wansun Technology, Zhiyin Robotics, Renjia Robotics, BOE Art Cloud, Yunyi Technology, Dehuo Technology, Tianyi Shuju, and Zhongqi Network Security Group. Around 60% of these companies hold qualifications such as national high-tech enterprises, Zhongguancun high-tech enterprises, specialized and innovative SMEs, or "little giant" enterprises.
The park benefits from triple policy incentives as part of the Zhongguancun Science Park, National Comprehensive Demonstration Zone for Opening Up Services, and China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone. It also integrates policy resources, ecological advantages, cultural-tourism assets, and transportation infrastructure.
The park operator emphasized its commitment to aligning with the sub-center’s development strategy, driving urban functional upgrades through industrial advancement, and establishing the park as a new industrial cluster hub to inject fresh momentum into the sub-center's economy.
