LEAPMOTOR Shares Surge Over 7% Following Strong March Deliveries

LEAPMOTOR (09863) saw its shares rise more than 7%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 7.08%, trading at HK$50.35 with a turnover of HK$382 million.

The company announced its latest delivery figures on the morning of April 1. Deliveries in March reached 50,029 vehicles, representing a 35% increase compared to the same period last year and an approximate 78.25% growth from the previous month.

On the product front, the LEAPMOTOR A10 model was officially launched on March 26 and continues to see strong order momentum. The highly anticipated flagship model, the D19, is set for its global launch event on April 16.

Additionally, LEAPMOTOR issued an announcement stating that, based on strong confidence in the company's future development and to promote sustainable and stable growth while protecting the interests of public investors, company shareholder, Chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming, along with company shareholder Fu Liquan, recently purchased a total of 5.0802 million H-shares in the open market. The average purchase price was approximately HK$45.10 per share, amounting to a total investment of around HK$230 million.
