The Cangyuan County Party Committee Political and Legal Affairs Commission recently organized backbone personnel from joint defense stations in border townships and towns to take part in a specialized drone operation training program, using technology to empower grassroots border defense teams and improve the quality and efficiency of border control.
The training was based on the reality of Cangyuan's long border line, complex terrain, and difficult patrol operations, adhering to the principle of "practicality first, actual combat foremost" and adopting a model of "theoretical instruction + hands-on drills + assessment and verification."
During the theoretical segment, participants received systematic instruction on drone flight regulations, safe operating standards, equipment maintenance, in-flight emergency response, and application scenarios for border patrols, while also learning requirements for compliant flights and safe border patrols.
In the practical segment, hand-by-hand teaching and one-on-one guidance were used to carry out specialized training on commonly used border patrol skills such as takeoff and landing, hovering, route cruising, fixed-point photography, inspection of concealed areas, and aerial evidence collection, with targeted strengthening of flight control and emergency response capabilities under complex terrain conditions.
The entire training process enforced strict discipline and strict safety management, and graduation assessments were used to comprehensively test the results, ensuring that participants gained knowledge and could apply what they learned.
