Major Shareholder in Sanvo Chemicals Plans to Divest Up to Approximately 17% Stake

An announcement has been issued by SANVO CHEMICALS (00301). The company's board of directors has been informed by a controlling shareholder, Sanvo Fine Chemicals Limited (SFCL), that on July 16, 2026, it agreed to sell a total of 37.636 million company shares, representing about 8% of the total issued share capital as of the announcement date, through a placing agent on a best-efforts basis.

Furthermore, SFCL has additionally agreed that, subject to market conditions, it may sell an extra 42.341 million company shares through a placing agent, also on a best-efforts basis. This potential additional sale would equate to roughly 9% of the total issued share capital as of the announcement date.

The board anticipates that these proposed share sales will not have any adverse impact on the group's business operations or its financial position.
