BUSYMING (01768) saw its shares rise nearly 5% in late trading. As of the time of writing, the stock had increased by 4.25%, reaching HK$417, with a turnover of HK$156 million. The surge follows the recent grand opening of the company's new immersive snack experience space, Snack Kingdom, located at Furong Plaza in Changsha, Hunan Province. Spanning 12,000 square meters and featuring over 6,500 global brands and more than 35,000 snack varieties, Snack Kingdom has been certified by Guinness World Records as the "world's largest snack store" due to its extensive selection and large scale. Industry insiders noted that Snack Kingdom, with its Guinness-level scale, open industrial platform, and innovative consumer experience, not only redefines the snack retail landscape but also serves as a bridge connecting global flavors, Chinese manufacturing, and urban vitality. It is expected to become a new consumer landmark in Changsha, injecting fresh momentum into boosting consumption and expanding domestic demand. It is reported that Snack Kingdom is open to long-term collaboration with food manufacturers and brands worldwide. Snack Kingdom operates under the BUSYMING Group and is a separate entity from "Snack Busy & Zhao Yiming Snacks," with independent product selection systems. The former focuses on a "full category, multi-brand, variety-rich, platform-oriented" approach, while the latter continues with a "premium category, high quality, selective" strategy. Although the two systems operate independently, well-performing brands and products from Snack Kingdom may be considered for inclusion in the "Snack Busy & Zhao Yiming Snacks" selection. If they meet the high standards required, broader collaboration opportunities could bring these products to more consumers.
