MEITUAN-W: Black Pearl Restaurant Guide to Expand to 4 New Cities in 2026

MEITUAN-W's Black Pearl Restaurant Guide has announced that its 2026 selection process will expand to include Nantong in Jiangsu, Qingdao in Shandong, Shijiazhuang in Hebei, and Shenyang in Liaoning. Shenyang, in particular, will serve as the inaugural city for the "Black Pearl list" to explore landmark culinary destinations and representative restaurants across the three northeastern provinces.

On January 27, the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide will officially release the new year's selection results for mainland China, at which time the restaurant rankings for the four newly added cities will also be unveiled. Since 2023, "Black Pearl" has been adding two to three new cities to its selection annually. By 2026, the number of cities covered by the guide in mainland China will have expanded from the initial 19 in 2018 to 32.
