ITC PROPERTIES Shares Surge Over 5% Following Agreement for Major 1GW AI Computing Hub in Nantong

Stock News07-22

Shares of ITC PROPERTIES (HKEX: 00199) have risen more than 5%. As of the latest update, the stock is up 5.61%, trading at HK$2.26 with a turnover of HK$6.56 million.

The catalyst for the share price movement is the company's announcement of a strategic partnership. The firm has entered into a memorandum of cooperation with the Management Committee of the Jiangsu Rudong Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone.

The agreement focuses on joint investment and construction in the Yangkou Port area, specifically targeting green artificial intelligence computing infrastructure, computing resource operation platforms, and related supporting industries.

A key aspect of the project is its initial planned total IT load of approximately 1 gigawatt (GW). The development will be executed through a phased approach over roughly five years, following a model of overall planning, staged implementation, rolling deployment, and market-oriented operation.

The first phase of the project is slated to involve the construction of a green AI computing center with a capacity of around 200 megawatts (MW).

This initiative signifies that ITC PROPERTIES is not merely investing in a standard data center project. Instead, it represents a strategic move to position itself within the emerging, large-scale global competition for next-generation AI infrastructure.
