Baijiu Price Pulse: Dream Blue M6+ and Gujing Tribute 20 Surge While Qinghua Lang Tumbles

Deep News08-22

Latest data from the past 24 hours shows a mixed performance across 11 major baijiu products on August 22, with six posting gains and five declining, extending the ongoing divergence in the sector.

On the upside, Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ rose 7 yuan to an average retail price of 618 yuan, marking its fourth consecutive session of strength and matching its monthly high. Gujing Tribute 20 climbed 7 yuan to 548 yuan, securing a second straight gain and hitting a near one-month peak. Wuliangye 1618 edged up 1 yuan to 826 yuan, maintaining its range-bound trajectory with a slight uptick. Qinghua Fen 20 advanced 3 yuan to 397 yuan, posting back-to-back gains as it once again approaches the 400-yuan threshold. Guojiao 1573 rose 5 yuan to 881 yuan, breaking a four-session losing streak with notable price recovery. Shuijing Jiannanchun gained 1 yuan to 406 yuan, ticking higher within its range and equaling its monthly record.

On the downside, Feitian Moutai slipped 2 yuan to 1,783 yuan, continuing its technical pullback. Premium Moutai dropped 4 yuan to 2,470 yuan, extending its gradual decline. Wuliangye Pu Wu 8th Generation fell 5 yuan to 803 yuan, ending its two-day winning streak. Xijiu Junpin dipped 1 yuan to 635 yuan, logging a third consecutive decline as it consolidates within its range. Qinghua Lang plunged 10 yuan to 692 yuan, swiftly breaking below the 700-yuan mark, a move worth monitoring closely going forward.

The aggregate terminal retail value of the 11 key products rebounded today, driven primarily by the sub-premium segment, while top-tier baijiu names continued their modest corrections. The mixed pattern of gains and losses persists. If all 11 products were bundled and sold as a single package, the total price would be 10,059 yuan, up 2 yuan from yesterday, ending a multi-day downward streak.

Daily pricing data is sourced from approximately 200 collection points strategically distributed across major regions nationwide, including designated dealers, social distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. Raw sample data reflects actual transaction prices at these points over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide an objective, scientific, and fully traceable reference for the market prices of major baijiu products.

With the launch of the official i-Moutai platform selling Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle on New Year's Day (raised to 1,539 yuan on March 31, then to 1,639 yuan on July 18), and Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle starting January 9 (raised to 2,359 yuan on May 16), this new sales channel has increasingly exerted a magnetic influence on the average retail prices of both products. Daily price calculations follow a volume-weighted methodology, incorporating verifiable transaction data into the terminal retail price assessments for these two items.

In other key industry news, on August 21, Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. (SH: 600519) held its 2026 semi-annual results briefing. Company director Wang Li (acting in the role of general manager) addressed the pricing mechanism, stating that prices are determined by market forces and influenced by supply-demand dynamics. This year's multiple price adjustments have followed the principles of "following market trends, maintaining relative stability, aligning with supply and demand, and balancing volume and price." Through five rounds of price adjustments, the company has established a supply-demand-driven pricing framework, creating a dynamic adjustment mechanism. This approach aims to align the comprehensive unit price of all products with real consumer demand, bringing Moutai's selling prices closer to actual market transaction levels.
