Fuel Price Adjustment Alert: Expected Increase at the Pump

The next scheduled adjustment to domestic fuel prices will take effect at midnight on August 28th (this Friday). According to the latest calculations, the projected increase for gasoline and diesel stands at 400 yuan per tonne and 385 yuan per tonne, respectively. When translated to the retail level, this suggests 92-octane gasoline will rise by approximately 0.32 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline by 0.34 yuan per liter, and 0-diesel by 0.33 yuan per liter.

Currently, the national average reference prices stand at 7.77 yuan per liter for 92-octane gasoline, 8.29 yuan per liter for 95-octane gasoline, and 7.42 yuan per liter for 0-diesel. Motorists are advised to consider filling up their tanks before the midnight deadline on August 28th to mitigate the impact of the anticipated price hike on their travel expenses.
