Chery Auto reported that group vehicle sales across its five major brands reached 262.99 million units in August 2026, up 14.0% from 230.75 million units a year earlier. New energy vehicles (NEVs) contributed 113.26 million units, while export volume stood at 187.15 million units.
Brand-level data show mixed performances. The core CHERY marque delivered 187.43 million units, rising 16.1% year on year. Emerging electric brand iCAR more than doubled deliveries to 10.23 million units, a 112.2% increase. Premium EV unit LUXEED surged 404.2% to 8.56 million units. In contrast, EXEED and JETOUR contracted, falling 36.2% and 5.4% to 5.50 million and 51.28 million units respectively.
For the first eight months of 2026, group sales totaled 1.80 billion units, representing 10.8% growth versus the same period in 2025. The CHERY brand accounted for 1.29 billion units, expanding 24.2% year on year. iCAR added 64.69 million units, 15.7% above last year. EXEED and JETOUR recorded declines of 39.0% and 10.6%, delivering 47.06 million and 360.12 million units respectively, while LUXEED’s cumulative volume fell 22.6% to 38.62 million units.
