NAGACORP (03918) has announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2026. The group recorded gross gaming revenue of $303.7 million, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 8.6%, while net profit reached $144 million, down 3.2% compared to the same period last year. Earnings per share stood at 3.26 US cents.
The overall decline in gross gaming revenue, which fell 8.6% year-on-year to $303.7 million, was primarily attributed to a notable slowdown in the growth momentum of the VIP market segment. Despite this, the mass market segment continued to serve as the group's primary revenue generator, with business volume expanding by 6.2% year-on-year.
The robust performance of the mass market segment was the key driver behind gross profit, which contracted at a more moderate pace of 2.7% year-on-year to $268.4 million. Meanwhile, net profit declined by 3.2% to $144 million. Compared to the same period last year, all key profitability indicators—including gross margin, EBITDA margin, and net profit margin—showed significant improvement, reflecting an enhancement in earnings quality driven by the sustained strength of the mass market gaming table segment.
