TVB Actress Lin Xiawei's Husband's Bankruptcy Period Indefinitely Extended Over HK$135 Million Debt

Deep News12-03

On December 2, it was reported that Jason Mok, the financier husband of TVB award-winning actress Lin Xiawei, has had his bankruptcy period indefinitely extended after failing to repay over HK$135 million in debts. In April this year, Mok was declared bankrupt over the unpaid amount.

The High Court's Deputy Judge Lam Chin-ching issued a "bankruptcy non-commencement order" on December 1, approving the trustee's written application. Since Mok failed to comply with legal requirements to submit details of his assets, the court ruled that his bankruptcy period would not begin counting. This means he will remain indefinitely bankrupt until he provides all necessary financial records or until the court issues further orders.

Lin Xiawei, born on June 30, 1987, in Xiamen, Fujian Province, is a graduate of the Central Academy of Drama. She is a Hong Kong-based actress, singer, and full-time member of the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, currently under contract with Shaw Brothers.
