Residents in Daqiao Town, Nanhu District, can now conveniently purchase high-quality local agricultural products without traveling to rural villages. A series of events titled "Premium Farm Produce Entering Communities and Enterprises" is currently underway in the Yaou Community, offering fresh fruits and vegetables directly to consumers.

A resident surnamed Shen expressed her satisfaction after buying strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and pumpkins, noting that the products are reasonably priced and of reliable quality. According to a representative from Yaou Community, the initiative is part of Daqiao Town's efforts to explore new approaches to supporting farmers and benefiting residents. By leveraging the role of grassroots organizations, the community has connected with local villages such as Yundong, Nijiabang, Xushan, and Youqiao to supply fresh produce directly to households and businesses.

Prior to the event, Yaou Community adopted a "party-building leadership and service-first" approach, coordinating with local agricultural producers to integrate resources including Yundong Village's melons, Nijiabang Village's tomatoes and cucumbers, Xushan Village's strawberries, and Youqiao Village's vegetables. This established a direct supply chain linking communities, villages, and farmers.

Through the setup of convenient direct-sale points in residential areas and the provision of corporate ordering and delivery services, the activity enables local premium agricultural products to reach consumers and employees with minimal delay. This not only reduces intermediate distribution steps but also ensures the freshness and safety of the goods.

Since its launch, community staff have taken on roles as coordinators and distributors, facilitating the connection between production and sales while streamlining the purchasing process. All products are picked and delivered on the same day. So far, the initiative has helped sell over 2,000 kilograms of agricultural products and served more than 1,000 residents and corporate employees.

In addition to making shopping easier for community members, the program offers convenience to employees of local enterprises. By placing orders online, workers can collect fresh produce at their workplace at the end of the day, achieving precise "point-to-point" service.

A community representative emphasized that the program allows residents to enjoy fresh vegetables, provides farmers with an additional sales channel, and enhances practical support for local businesses. Moving forward, the community plans to sustain this "field-to-doorstep" pathway, adjusting the variety of products according to the season. The goal is to continuously deliver local high-quality fruits and vegetables to neighborhoods and companies, making it easy for residents to buy and reassuring for farmers to sell, ultimately fostering mutual prosperity for both farmers and consumers.
