At the upcoming ninth China International Import Expo, Qualcomm (NASDAQ: QCOM) will participate for the ninth consecutive year.
This year, Qualcomm will showcase achievements in 6G, agentic AI, and diverse intelligent terminals under the theme of making intelligent computing ubiquitous, alongside its partners.
Meng Pu, Chairman of Qualcomm China, stated that since the inaugural Import Expo, Qualcomm has exhibited annually as promised, describing it not only as a recurring commitment but also a journey of joint innovation and growth with Chinese industry partners.
From displaying 5G prototypes at the first expo to presenting 5G commercialization results with Chinese partners, and now to the emergence of diverse intelligent terminals such as AI phones, AI PCs, and cars, we have witnessed the acceleration of 5G commercialization and the integration of 5G connectivity technologies with AI to empower more terminals and industries.
In this process, the Import Expo has become a vital platform for in-depth exchange between global innovation and China’s industrial development needs, fostering continuous cooperation outcomes. This year, we will present the 6G terminal prototype and cutting-edge agentic AI applications, aiming to share new technological achievements and continue advancing innovative collaboration with Chinese partners.
A major highlight of the Qualcomm booth this year is the global debut of the first 6G terminal prototype compliant with the latest 3GPP definitions, marking its first public physical display outside the lab at a major global exhibition.
As a key testing and validation platform for 6G commercialization, this prototype has been used in joint 6G technology tests and interoperability verification with Chinese industry partners, including China Mobile and ZTE.
Beyond the 6G terminal prototype, the Qualcomm booth will also feature ecological innovations expanding from personal AI to physical AI, including the latest flagship smartphones, AI PCs, agentic devices, smart glasses, cars, and robots, as well as interactive experiences in AI imaging and XR.
