Iranian media sources indicate that two Iranian oil tankers came under attack by US forces near the Jask region, with a third vessel also reporting an incident close to Kharg Island.
Among the two tankers hit near Jask, one was transporting a cargo of oil while the other was sailing without any load. Crew members from these vessels managed to evacuate using lifeboats and reached the shoreline safely.
The tanker attacked in the vicinity of Kharg Island had its fire brought under control, and no casualties have been reported so far.
