Postal Savings Bank Fully Redeems 30 Billion Yuan Perpetual Capital Bonds

On March 24, Postal Savings Bank Of China Co.,Ltd. announced that in March 2021, the bank issued 30 billion yuan of write-down non-fixed term capital bonds (the first tranche) in the national interbank bond market. The issuance was completed on March 23, 2021.

According to the terms of the bond's prospectus, the bonds contain an issuer call option. The bank had the right to fully or partially redeem the bonds on the interest payment date of the fifth accrual year, which falls on March 23, 2026. The bank has recently obtained a no-objection letter from the National Financial Regulatory Administration regarding the redemption of these bonds.

As of the date of this announcement, the bank has exercised the call option and fully redeemed the bonds.
