EMCOR Group Inc's stock surged 5.35% in pre-market trading on Wednesday following the release of its impressive first-quarter 2026 financial results and upward revision of full-year guidance.
The company reported a 30% year-over-year increase in diluted earnings per share to $6.84, while revenue climbed 19.7% to $4.63 billion, significantly exceeding analyst estimates of $4.20 billion. Operating income rose 26.7% to $403.8 million, with operating margin expanding by 0.5 percentage points to 8.7%.
EMCOR also raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $18.5 billion-$19.25 billion from the previous range of $17.75 billion-$18.5 billion, while increasing diluted EPS guidance to $28.25-$29.75 from $27.25-$29.25. The company cited sustained momentum across key market sectors and geographies, along with record remaining performance obligations that increased 32.9% to $15.62 billion.
