Vipshop's Double 11 special sale festival is set to officially launch at 8 PM on October 20.
According to Vipshop (NYSE: VIPS), the opening ceremony event will begin at 8 PM on October 20 and run for 86 consecutive hours until 10 AM on October 24.
Simultaneously, limited-edition bestsellers will be released, with tens of thousands of popular branded items offered at as low as 80% of their regular prices.
At the same time, Vipshop's "Crazy Flash 48 Hours" event, known for its outstanding value, will go live, with all participating products priced at annual lows.
Additionally, super instant discounts will apply on top of the promotional prices.
Bestselling items feature a single-item instant discount with no need to combine orders, offering consumers better prices and a better shopping experience.
As the Double 11 promotion approaches the peak season for autumn and winter seasonal shopping, demand for categories such as warm clothing, beauty and skincare, sports and outdoor gear, and home appliances is being released in a concentrated manner, with consumers increasingly favoring well-known brands and deeply discounted products.
In Vipshop's "Crazy Flash 48 Hours," Anta's three-in-one fleece-lined冲锋衣 is priced as low as 211 yuan, Pelliot's single-layer冲锋衣 as low as 439 yuan, a GUCCI bestseller mulberry silk and wool scarf with gift bag at only 910 yuan, and Olay's大红瓶 face cream 50g with three complimentary 14g creams as low as 209 yuan, all dropping to rock-bottom levels compared to regular prices.
During Double 11, Vipshop is partnering with multiple local governments to distribute consumption vouchers.
Among them, at 8 PM on October 20 when the promotion begins, Vipshop will issue government consumption vouchers offering up to 500 yuan off with a 10% discount, covering rich categories such as fashion apparel, sports and outdoor gear, and beauty and skincare.
The government consumption vouchers can be stacked with platform discounts, giving users the opportunity to purchase desired items at more affordable prices.
Voucher quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
It is understood that after the opening ceremony, October 24 to October 31 will be the major brand rotation period, with leading brands successively launching special events; at 8 PM on October 31, the annual bestseller ceremony will follow, with limited-time bestseller specials lasting 86 hours; at 8 PM on November 10, the ultimate carnival ceremony will take the stage, lasting 110 hours.
Vipshop's Double 11 will overall continue until 10 AM on November 15.
