On March 23, financial news reported that Ping An Bank held its 2025 performance briefing today. Regarding the movement of deposits, Assistant President Wang Jun stated that against the backdrop of declining deposit interest rates and changes in the capital markets, along with improved investor expectations, the bank has observed a shift in risk appetite among its individual and retail clients. Under the overall theme of stability, the proportion of relatively aggressive equity-based products has seen a noticeable increase. At the same time, demand for diversified product portfolio allocation solutions has become more robust than before.

Wang Jun pointed out that in response to these market changes, the bank’s primary focus is twofold: first, to closely follow market trends and adjust the structure of assets and deposits accordingly; second, to meet customer needs by offering tailored product combinations and allocation services. For scenarios involving the maturity of long-term deposits, the bank will not simply rely on high-priced rollovers. Instead, it will leverage integrated online and offline asset allocation services to combine wealth management product offerings and align them with specific customer requirements. Additionally, the bank will continue to enhance the development of high-quality deposit inflows through scenario-based initiatives.
