[Click to register] On October 16, Financial Frontline reported that the Global Wealth Management Forum · 2026 Shanghai Suhewan Conference was held in Shanghai from October 16 to 17, 2026. Apple Executive Chairman Tim Cook and Bai Chongen, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Global Wealth Management Forum and Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, held a dialogue on "Facing a New World Where Humans and AI Coexist."

Focusing on the theme of "The World in the Context of AI + Humanity," Bai Chongen asked how, at a moment of global transformation, artificial intelligence methods can reflect the philosophy of "integrating technology into human nature." Cook said: "Technology should serve humanity, not the other way around." In his view, "technology is all about how to improve this world, improve people's lives, make people's lives healthier, and help people create things that technology itself cannot create. So that they can get through the day more efficiently and improve their productivity."

Cook pointed out that in education, artificial intelligence has truly brought us very great challenges. On the ladder of career development, lower levels are disappearing and shrinking, "so we must learn to keep climbing the career ladder at higher levels. This is a major challenge we face."

Cook said, "Artificial intelligence can make the differences between people and ordinary people more obvious in more respects, and such differences may even be further widened. The problem is that for students who lack motivation to learn, they can quickly get answers through artificial intelligence, and then they are unwilling to continue learning. This is a huge challenge. How to motivate students to make better use of artificial intelligence for learning, rather than using artificial intelligence to help them find answers and ignore the entire learning process, is a very big challenge for us. Because of such challenges, we are also seriously thinking about how to teach and how to carry out teaching."

Bai Chongen said that education in the past may have been that the teacher raised a question, and the student's responsibility was to answer a general question. But now the question has actually become more important than the answer. In a world where the answer is already known, how you raise the question becomes even more important. "This is a kind of rewiring of the brain. You just mentioned how technology serves humanity, and there are many questions about how to serve in this regard. From which angle and with what methods can technology better serve humanity? So these are all very important questions that must be answered. I hope students can accelerate the learning process and grasp these things faster in learning," Bai Chongen said.
