Guizhou Agriculture Department Announces 19 Batches of Non-Compliant Agricultural Products (Issue No. 12, 2025)

In November 2025, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs conducted a supervision and sampling inspection of agricultural products from production bases across the province, in accordance with the *2025 Guizhou Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Supervision Plan* (Qian Nong Ban Fa [2025] No. 1).

A total of 7,014 batches were inspected, including 3,990 batches of vegetables, 352 batches of aquatic products, 1,639 batches of livestock and poultry products, 315 batches of edible fungi, 628 batches of fruits, and 90 batches of other products. Among these, 19 batches were found to be non-compliant.

The relevant county (city, district) agricultural departments have taken legal action against the violations. The details of the problematic products are as follows:

- **Anlong County**: Two batches of celery produced by grower Xie Wangming were found to contain chlorantraniliprole exceeding national safety standards. - **Weining County**: Two batches of eggs from farmer Song Jinxiu tested positive for amantadine, violating regulations. - **Cengong County**: Two batches of eggs from farmer Chen Min contained excessive enrofloxacin (combined with ciprofloxacin). - **Longli County**: One batch of chili peppers from grower Liao Zhongxiang exceeded the permitted level of chlorothalonil. - **Dejiang County**: One batch of ginger from farmer Xu Jin had excessive lead content. - **Taijiang County**: One batch of ginger from grower Ou Dejie also contained lead above the safety limit. - **Kaiyang County**: One batch of ginger from farmer Hou Jun was found with cadmium exceeding standards. - **Changshun County**: One batch of cabbage from grower Tang Rongping contained cypermethrin beyond permissible levels. - **Zhenfeng County**: One batch of cabbage from farmer Qian Jifen tested positive for acetamiprid. - **Duyun City**: Two batches of Chinese cabbage and bok choy from grower Zhao Rongju were found with cyfluthrin exceeding limits. - **Wudang District**: One batch of snap beans from farmer Chen Conggang contained chlorantraniliprole above standards. - **Qixingguan District**: One batch of cilantro from the Bijie Longyin Fruit and Vegetable Cooperative tested positive for bifenthrin. - **Sandu County**: One batch of oranges from grower Xia Nengmei contained deltamethrin beyond limits. - **Sandu County**: One batch of chicken from farmer Wang Huixiang had sulfamethoxypyridazine exceeding standards. - **Luodian County**: One batch of chicken from farmer Yang Shenghua tested positive for sulfamethoxazole.
