Stock News10-14

Thrixel has announced the completion of a seed funding round, with the specific amount undisclosed, according to IT Juzi. The investment was led by Sierra Ventures.

Public records show that Thrixel was founded in 2026 and is headquartered in Chicago, USA. It was established by Rana Hanocka, an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Chicago, who also serves as CEO. Hanocka previously proposed foundational work in the field of 3D artificial intelligence, including MeshCNN and Text2Mesh.

The company has built an AI-native 3D creation platform that uses a "part-based" generation architecture to produce 3D assets with naming and hierarchical structures. This allows AI agents to directly recognize, assemble, and animate them in mainstream engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Three.js, and Roblox. It has also launched an agent workflow called Build World.

According to the company, it received lead investment from Sierra Ventures in its inception funding round, with participation from MFV Partners, Harper Court Ventures, Z5 Capital, and others.
