Gan&Lee Pharmaceuticals Receives Ethiopian Drug Registration Approval for Insulin Aspart Injection

Stock News10-08

Gan&Lee Pharmaceuticals (603087.SH) has announced that the company recently received a drug registration approval issued by the Ethiopian National Food and Drug Authority for its Insulin Aspart Injection (cartridge).

Insulin aspart is a rapid-acting insulin analog that is typically administered via subcutaneous injection immediately before meals.

It features a fast onset, rapid peak, and short duration of action. By precisely mimicking physiological postprandial insulin secretion, it can effectively control postprandial blood glucose fluctuations and reduce the risk of pre-meal hypoglycemia.

As of the date of the announcement, there are currently no insulin aspart products available in Ethiopia.
