Ping An's Guo Xiaotao Unveils 2026 as Service Year with Global Emergency Rescue Offering "Three A's"

Deep News03-27

On March 27, Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. held its 2025 performance briefing. Regarding investments, Deputy General Manager Guo Xiaotao elaborated on the strategic upgrade and core value of Ping An's global emergency rescue services.

Guo Xiaotao stated that 2026 will be the service year for Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd., with service system construction being a vital strategic direction for the group's fourth decade. Especially in today's financial market, characterized by homogenized and involutionary competition, Ping An's objective and strategy are to build a differentiated competitive advantage through its "finance + service" system. This also reflects the development direction of "investing in people" during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

The global emergency rescue service is one of Ping An's most significant service upgrades this year. According to Guo Xiaotao, while the service has been offered for many years, it now features two key enhancements. The first is a comprehensive scenario upgrade, covering all indoor, outdoor, domestic, and international situations. Addressing the growing demand for overseas travel and study, it assists international clients facing dilemmas such as lost passports or wallets, robbery, or sudden illness. For the domestic population, specifically over 50% of empty-nest seniors aged 60 and above, the service utilizes millimeter-wave radar, 24/7 elderly care managers, and family doctors to promptly detect incidents like falls. It simultaneously coordinates with emergency services (120), police (110), and hospitals, dispatching rescue teams immediately.

Guo Xiaotao remarked that one can never predict whether an accident or tomorrow will come first. Through this service, Ping An aims to provide clients with reliable protection in any scenario, at any location, and at any time.

The second upgrade involves service integration, deeply linking emergency rescue with medical services. Guo Xiaotao indicated that, both domestically and internationally, the service not only handles sudden accidents but also connects clients with local high-quality medical facilities in the shortest possible time to provide the most suitable emergency medical assistance. He cited an example from last year where an ICU was effectively set up on a helicopter during a rescue mission, ensuring the client received critical emergency medical care within the crucial golden half-hour to one-hour window. Efficient rescues were also successfully conducted for clients involved in accidents at locations like Yellowstone National Park in the US and Aksu, Xinjiang. This year, the service provided urgent assistance to clients trapped in conflict zones in the Middle East.

Guo Xiaotao emphasized that the core of Ping An's global emergency rescue service is the "Three A's": Anything, Anywhere, Anytime.

"Regardless of any accident, Ping An's emergency aid is by your side" is the company's service slogan for the year. Guo Xiaotao stressed that through this method and service of emergency assistance, Ping An hopes to offer clients peace of mind, enabling them to confidently walk a long-term path with the company.
