CWT INT'L (00521) announced that on January 8, 2026, a memorandum of cooperation entered into by its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, CWT Pte. Limited, and an independent third party, S.F. Express (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (SF Singapore), has officially taken effect. The memorandum serves to confirm the collaborative intent of both parties and establishes a foundation for cooperation based on the stipulated terms and conditions. This collaboration encompasses, but is not limited to, general cargo warehousing and operational services; refrigerated and frozen storage and handling; container transportation, vehicle fleet leasing and maintenance; local (Singapore) courier and transportation services; and the exploration of further cooperative opportunities within air and sea freight logistics chains. Following internal corporate approvals, the parties may proceed to formalize further agreements regarding the proposed collaboration. The memorandum is valid for a period of two years and may be extended for an additional year upon mutual agreement, initiated by either party. Except for certain provisions concerning confidentiality and dispute resolution, the memorandum is not legally binding on either party. At the level of Singaporean and regional logistics, the partnership will deeply leverage S.F. Holding Co., Ltd.'s strengths in cross-border express delivery, air transportation, and global networks, combined with CWT Pte.'s core expertise in local warehousing management, cold chain operations, local distribution, cargo transshipment, and customs clearance services in Singapore. This synergy aims to significantly expand collaboration in warehousing, distribution, transportation, and cold chain logistics, thereby constructing a more comprehensive local logistics service matrix, enhancing operational stability and flexibility, and optimizing overall costs. In the international logistics sector, the collaboration will focus on deepening cooperation in key areas such as air freight, sea freight, cross-border customs clearance, and multimodal transport. By leveraging SF Singapore's robust cross-border transportation network and advantages in delivery speed, alongside CWT Pte.'s global freight expertise and extensive port connections, the two entities will jointly explore broader market opportunities to drive business scalability and improve operational efficiency. The Board of Directors believes that the powerful alliance between SF Singapore and CWT Pte. will deliver significant value to e-commerce cross-border, international trade, and supply chain enterprises. Clients will benefit from an integrated "one-stop local and international logistics" service, which includes more efficient cold chain guarantees, expedited customs clearance processes, more reliable warehousing and distribution, and overall cost optimization. This will ultimately help reduce supply chain risks, accelerate cargo turnover, better adapt to market demand fluctuations, enhance competitiveness, achieve sustainable development, and create greater value for shareholders.
