Xiaomi (01810) Announces Share Issuance and Repurchase Update

On 3 December 2025, Xiaomi Corporation reported a new share issuance of 10,000 WVR Class B ordinary shares at HKD 2.68 per share, bringing the total number of issued Class B shares to 21,533,038,734. The overall issued share capital of the company (including Class A shares) remained at 26,044,581,878 as of 2 December 2025, composed of 4,511,553,144 Class A shares and 21,533,028,734 Class B shares prior to the latest issuance.

Xiaomi also confirmed several repurchases of Class B ordinary shares between 20 November 2025 and 3 December 2025. As of the closing balance date, these repurchased shares had not yet been cancelled. On 3 December 2025, an additional 7,500,000 shares were repurchased on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 40.14 to HKD 40.36 per share, totaling HKD 301,838,972. The company reported that all repurchases aligned with relevant rules and its repurchase mandate dated 5 June 2025, which authorized the repurchase of up to 2,594,916,968 shares.

According to the announcement, the aggregate number of shares repurchased under the mandate represented approximately 0.33% of the Class B shares in issue on the date the resolution was passed. The announcement indicated a moratorium period until 2 January 2026 for any new share issuance or transfer of treasury shares following the reported repurchases, subject to applicable carve-outs.
