World-Link Logistics (Asia) Holding Limited (“WORLD-LINK LOG”) released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, detailing measurable progress toward the Group’s 2026 sustainability targets across Hong Kong and Macau operations (366,000 sq ft, 60.6% of revenue).
Environmental Performance • Greenhouse gases: Total emissions declined to 790.55 tCO₂e, with intensity down 8.3% to 2.10 kg CO₂e/sq ft. Scope 1 emissions dropped 39.2% to 44.72 tCO₂e after rationalising the vehicle fleet. • Energy consumption: Intensity edged down 0.3% to 6.08 kWh/sq ft; electricity accounted for 92.1% of the 2.22 million kWh total. LED retrofits and high-efficiency equipment underpin the 2026 energy-intensity reduction target. • Water: Consumption intensity decreased 10.3% to 0.026 m³/sq ft, supported by maintenance upgrades and efficiency campaigns. • Waste: Non-hazardous waste generation was 317.00 tonnes, equating to 0.80 kg/sq ft. Hazardous waste was limited to 42 m³ of expired customer products, removed by licensed contractors. • Air pollutants: SOx fell to 0.26 kg, NOx to 197.62 kg and PM to 19.38 kg, reflecting fewer diesel vehicles and broader use of electric forklifts. The Group remains “in-progress” toward its 2026 goals of lowering carbon, energy, water and waste intensities from the 2021 baseline.
Climate Governance and Risk The Board oversees climate strategy, supported by an ESG Taskforce that reports annually. A qualitative scenario analysis using IPCC SSP1-1.9 (low-risk) and SSP5-8.5 (high-risk) pathways identified extreme weather disruptions and tightening emissions regulations as key risks, with fuel-efficiency upgrades and contingency planning as mitigation measures. Quantitative financial impact disclosure is scheduled for future phases once data systems mature.
Social Metrics • Workforce: 172 full-time and 11 part-time employees; turnover rate 21.31% (39 departures). • Training: 100% staff coverage, averaging nine hours per employee; HK$20,000 study allowance per person remains in place. • Health & safety: Three work-injury cases (28 lost days); no fatalities. Safety programmes include forklift, manual-handling and emergency-response training. • Supply chain: 149 active suppliers (131 Hong Kong, 18 Macau); environmental and social criteria integrated into selection processes. • Compliance: No material breaches recorded in labour, safety, environmental or anti-corruption regulations during the year.
Community Engagement The Group’s Community Investment Policy centres on social health and rehabilitation support through donations, sponsorships and employee volunteering.
WORLD-LINK LOG plans to “continuously enhance” ESG management while pursuing its fourth-party logistics expansion strategy in Hong Kong and Macau.
