On the news front, on January 30, Google announced the public testing phase for its world model, Genie3. This model allows users to generate real-time interactive virtual worlds resembling games through natural language dialogue, with initial tests showing impressive results. On the same day, TapTap officially launched its AI game creation agent, "TapTap Maker." This AI agent, built around the core concept of "if you can imagine it, you can create it," aims to significantly lower the technical barriers and entry thresholds for game development by integrating AI with the platform's capabilities, thereby ushering in an era of "zero-barrier creation" for games. Kaiyuan Securities released a research report stating that the leap in capabilities of AI model tools could substantially lower the barriers to game development. This shift could empower players to become creators, consequently driving a significant increase in the personalization and richness of game supply, which in turn enhances the value of traffic platforms and distribution channels. Changjiang Securities added that AI has the potential to reshape the entire game industry development pipeline and construct a completely new content ecosystem.
