Deep News11-22

At the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Tank brand showcased multiple models, with the Tank 300 Polar Edition officially opening for pre-orders in a limited run of 300 units.

Previously designated as the "Official Product for China's Arctic and Antarctic Expeditions," the Tank 300 accompanied the research vessel "Xuelong 2" to the Antarctic Great Wall Station, serving as a support vehicle for scientific missions. This special edition is a co-creation between the Tank brand and its users, featuring design elements inspired by polar landscapes. The "Polar Glory" emblem incorporates snow-capped mountain motifs, while the "Polar Edge" decals draw inspiration from polar mountain ranges. The "Polar Orange" exterior uses an internationally recognized safety color, and the headrests are engraved with the coordinates of the Antarctic Great Wall Station as the "Polar Mark."

The Tank 300 Polar Edition offers two powertrain options: a 2.4T high-performance diesel engine and a 2.0T high-power gasoline engine. Standard equipment includes AT all-terrain tires, a 9,500-pound wireless remote winch, 2.5-ton towing capacity, remotely controlled front windshield heating, and nozzle heating with automatic settings—exclusive features tailored for extreme conditions.

Meanwhile, the new Tank 400 debuted in Dunhuang Purple, achieving nearly 5,000 terminal sales within two weeks of launch. The new Tank 500 was introduced in Dunhuang Green. Both models feature the Hi4-Z power-split architecture, delivering a pure electric range of 201 km and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.3 seconds. In October 2025 alone, the new Tank 500 recorded 7,609 sales.

Notably, Meng Lei, captain of the 2025 KPL champion team AG Super Play, became the first owner of the Tank 400, gifting the Dunhuang Purple variant to his partner. Great Wall Motor Chairman Wei Jianjun also personally ordered a Tank 400 in Dunhuang Purple for his spouse.

To date, the Tank brand is approaching 800,000 cumulative users, commanding over half of China's off-road vehicle market share.
