Baidu, Inc. (Baidu) announced that, in line with Rule 2.07A of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong’s expanded paperless listing framework that took effect on 31 December 2023, the company will migrate all future corporate communications to electronic channels.
Effective immediately, Baidu will no longer issue printed copies of materials such as directors’ reports, annual and interim reports, meeting notices, listing documents, circulars and proxy forms. Instead, English and Chinese versions will be accessible on the company’s investor relations website (https://ir.baidu.com/) and the HKEXnews portal (www.hkexnews.hk). Shareholders are responsible for monitoring these sites for new publications; optional email alerts are available via HKEXnews.
To facilitate prompt delivery of actionable corporate communications—documents that require shareholder instructions—Baidu urges investors to provide functional email addresses. Shareholders can submit contact details by scanning a personalized QR code on the enclosed reply form or by returning the form to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited at 17M Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
Key procedures highlighted: • If no valid email address is supplied, Baidu will default to sending actionable communications in printed form until electronic details are provided. • Investors preferring hard-copy materials may request printed versions by completing the reply form or emailing baidu.ecom@computershare.com.hk with their name and address. This print request remains valid for one year from the receipt date. • Multiple email submissions will be resolved by registering only the latest address received.
Shareholders with questions can contact the Hong Kong share registrar on +852 2862 8688, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (Hong Kong time), excluding public holidays.
The notice is issued by Robin Yanhong Li, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, on behalf of Baidu’s Board on 17 September 2026.
