The latest data from Sina Finance's "Liquor Price Index" reveals a broad-based rebound in China's premium baijiu market over the past 24 hours. The average retail price of ten benchmark products collectively rose by 43 yuan to 9,197 yuan on Tuesday, marking the highest level in six days. Market bellwethers including Kweichow Moutai's Feitian and premium offerings showed moderate gains.
The index compiles real transaction data from approximately 200 nationwide collection points, including authorized distributors, independent retailers, e-commerce platforms, and physical stores, ensuring comprehensive and traceable market pricing information.
All tracked products either stabilized or advanced today, with Qinghualang leading the rally at an 11 yuan per bottle increase. Xijiao Junpin and Crystal Jiannanchun followed with notable gains of 10 yuan and 6 yuan respectively. Wuliangye Yibin's Eighth-Generation Premium and Guojiao 1573 rose by 6 yuan and 2 yuan, while Qinghua Fen 20 advanced 3 yuan. Feitian Moutai and Premium Moutai edged up 3 yuan and 2 yuan respectively. Gujing Gongjiu's Gu 20 and Yanghe's Dream Blue M6+ maintained flat pricing.
In industry developments, Wuliangye Yibin officially launched its FIFA World Cup co-branded baijiu series on December 1. The limited-edition collection includes an 860 yuan 500ml Eighth-Generation bottle and a 1,280 yuan 1.5L "Golden Goal" special edition. This follows the company's August 28 announcement as an official partner for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
