On September 9, Century Digital (920229.BJ) launched its subscription on the Beijing Stock Exchange, priced at 15.67 yuan per share with an upper limit of 467,500 shares, reflecting a price-to-earnings ratio of 13.49 times. Orient Securities acts as the sponsor for this listing.

According to the prospectus, Century Digital centers its business on digital inkjet printing technology, with core operations focused on industrial applications in textile digital printing, advertising signage, and corrugated cardboard packaging digital printing. The company specializes in the research, development, production, and sale of digital inkjet textile printers, digital printers, corrugated color box digital printing machines, along with related accessories and consumables.

Based on certification issued by the Advertising Production and Display Committee of the China Business Advertising Association, the company captured 27% of the domestic market share for digital printers (micro-piezoelectric digital photo equipment) from 2022 to 2024, ranking first in the industry. Furthermore, according to the 2024 China Textile Digital Inkjet Printing Development Report released by the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association, the installed base of digital thermal transfer printing machines in China reached 6,400 units in 2023. Measured against the company's domestic sales volume of digital thermal transfer printing machines that year, its domestic market share was approximately 25%, placing it at the forefront of the sector.

The company also pioneered the "roll-to-roll" corrugated color box digital printing machine in China, which was officially recognized as a "Henan Province First (Set) Major Technical Equipment" in September 2025.

Currently, digital inkjet printing technology remains predominantly applied in traditional printing sectors such as books, magazines, and photo albums, as well as in advertising printing, which together account for nearly 60% of usage. Penetration in the textile printing field remains relatively low at under 10%. Looking ahead, ongoing technological advancements and growing market demand are expected to significantly broaden the application scope of digital inkjet printing.

In recent years, rising aesthetic preferences and the demand for unique personalization have fueled the growth of the DIY market. According to data from Fortune Business Insights, the global handicraft market is projected to reach $1,218.77 billion in 2025 and climb to $1,341.26 billion by 2026, with increasing numbers of consumers engaging in DIY craft activities.

Heat press machines are used in the apparel sector for personalized heat transfers on items like T-shirts, hoodies, and sportswear, effectively serving the needs of trendy streetwear brands, niche designer custom labels, and small-batch orders from e-commerce platforms. In home decor, these machines enable pattern printing on fabric products such as curtains, throw pillows, and tablecloths, allowing consumers to craft personalized home styles. For gift customization, they efficiently print designs on canvas bags, cultural shirts, and other accessories, widely accommodating diverse scenarios including holiday promotions, team-building events, and commemorative activities.

According to Smithers' report "The Future of Packaging Printing to 2029," flexographic printing currently dominates corrugated packaging printing, holding over 50% of the market share. However, digital inkjet printing eliminates the need for plate-making, efficiently handles short-run printing tasks, and resolves issues like tight delivery schedules and variable order quantities in corrugated packaging. It also offers significant advantages in personalization and customization, meeting the growing demand for tailored, small-batch packaging solutions. Driven by these benefits, digital inkjet technology is becoming increasingly integrated into the corrugated box packaging sector, which saw digital printing products account for just 1.1% of production output in 2024, yet is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 12.8% over the next five years.

Financially, the company reported revenues of approximately 571 million yuan, 569 million yuan, and 612 million yuan for the fiscal years 2023, 2024, and 2025, respectively. During the same period, net profits were around 49.8781 million yuan, 57.2966 million yuan, and 53.5283 million yuan.
