Deep News07-15

Shares of Estun Automation Co.,Ltd. surged more than 9% after the company issued a positive profit alert. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.24% to HK$21.78, with a trading turnover of HK$78.91 million.

The company announced an expected first-half net profit attributable to shareholders of between 1.5 billion yuan and 1.8 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 2,144.74% to 2,593.68%. The significant performance improvement is primarily attributed to the optimization of the product mix, cost reductions and efficiency gains leading to improved gross margins, a decrease in the period expense ratio, and an increase in non-recurring gains from the completed asset restructuring of its associate company Nanjing Process.

It is noteworthy that Estun Automation is currently planning to acquire equity in Estun Cozmo, a company focused on embodied intelligent robots. Estun Cozmo's main business involves the research and development, production, and sales of collaborative robots, embodied intelligent robots, and their core components. Its primary products include collaborative robots with payloads ranging from 3 to 35 kilograms, embodied intelligent robots, and their core parts. Downstream application fields primarily encompass the automotive, home appliance, 3C electronics, and food logistics industries.
