Beijing Capital International Airport Co., Ltd. (00694) has announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2026. During the first half of the year, the airport recorded 216,706 aircraft movements, representing a slight decrease of approximately 0.3% compared to the same period last year.
Passenger throughput reached 35,758,194, marking a year-on-year increase of about 4.7%. Meanwhile, cargo and mail throughput totaled 754,410 tonnes, reflecting a modest growth of roughly 1.1% from the prior-year period.
For the first half of 2026, the company generated operating revenue of RMB 2.818 billion, an increase of approximately 2.3% year-on-year. Revenue from aviation-related services came in at RMB 1.385 billion, up about 3.0% from the same period in the previous year. Non-aviation business revenue reached RMB 1.433 billion, representing a year-on-year rise of approximately 1.6%.
Operating expenses for the period amounted to RMB 2.692 billion, reflecting a decrease of approximately 3.1% year-on-year. The company reported a net profit after tax of RMB 16.772 million (earnings per share of approximately RMB 0.004), successfully turning around from a net loss of RMB 164 million recorded in the same period last year—a significant improvement of approximately 110.2%.
