PICC Group Updates Board Composition and Committee Leadership

The People’s Insurance Company (Group) of China Limited (PICC Group) released an updated list of its directors and their roles as of 31 May 2026, detailing both board composition and the structure of its five specialised committees.

The board now comprises: • 2 Executive Directors – Vice-Chairman Zhao Peng and Xiao Jianyou. • 4 Non-executive Directors – Xu Xiang, Wang Shaoqun, Yu Qiang and Song Hongjun. • 5 Independent Non-executive Directors – Xu Lina, Wang Pengcheng, Gao Pingyang, Jia Ruo and Yeung Cheung Ying.

Five special committees continue to operate under the board: 1) Strategy and Investment / Sustainable Development Committee 2) Risk Management & Consumers’ Rights and Interests Protection Committee 3) Audit Committee 4) Nomination and Remuneration Committee 5) Related Party Transactions Control Committee

Key committee appointments include: • Zhao Peng serving as chairman of one committee. • Independent non-executive director Wang Pengcheng chairing a committee and holding seats on two others. • Independent non-executive directors Gao Pingyang and Jia Ruo each chairing a separate committee in addition to other memberships.

These assignments underscore PICC Group’s adherence to corporate governance practices that blend executive insight with independent supervision. The announcement was filed with The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and dated 31 May 2026.
