Operations Intern

What does this role involve? You will be responsible for the daily operations of the "Wave Studio" WeChat official account according to work requirements. This includes content creation, brand building, enhancing user experience, cross-promotion for follower growth, and routine content reposting. You will also participate in various projects and initiatives from time to time, bringing your creativity and intelligence to the table.

We are looking for candidates with:

1. An understanding of the fundamental principles of operating content platforms like WeChat official accounts, Zhihu, and Weibo (ASX: WB-SW), and a grasp of strategies for growing followers on these platforms.

2. Good news sense and the ability to accurately discern information quality, including judging the caliber of an article.

3. A good aesthetic sense, capable of sourcing images that add value to the text, with a meticulous, almost obsessive-compulsive, attention to detail regarding text, layout, and images.

4. Patience, a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, time management skills, and the ability to maintain consistent enthusiasm and curiosity for the work.

5. Priority will be given to those with experience operating public accounts with millions of followers and relevant operational resources, or those who can commit to a long-term internship.

Weibo Operations Intern

What does this role involve?

1. Responsible for the daily operation of Weibo (ASX: WB-SW) content and planning for trending topics/hot searches.

2. Assisting in the execution and implementation of commercial projects.

3. Expanding and maintaining relationships and collaborations with media accounts.

We are looking for candidates with:

1. Availability to work 5 days a week. Priority will be given to those who can start soon.

2. A strong sense for online trends and the ability to write compelling Weibo (ASX: WB-SW) copy.

3. (Bonus) Relevant work experience, particularly as a well-known new media operator in China with Weibo (ASX: WB-SW) operations experience.

Video Planning Intern

What does this role involve?

1. Video Thumbnail Design: Create thumbnails that align with video content and themes, ensuring they fit the style and specifications of platforms like Bilibili, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Video Channels, and Weibo (ASX: WB-SW) to enhance video appeal.

2. Content Material Organization & Re-creation: Organize and categorize existing video materials, and perform secondary creation. Design graphic content for Xiaohongshu, including image selection, layout, and copy optimization.

3. Account Operations: Manage the daily operations of accounts across various platforms, including content publishing, data monitoring, and adjusting strategies based on platform algorithms to boost exposure and fan interaction. Familiarity with optimal posting times, algorithm rules, and content review standards for each platform is required to ensure compliance and maximize reach.

4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, communicating design needs for video content, providing design feedback, and supporting the content production process.

5. Other Supportive Tasks: Assist the team in analyzing online video trends, participate in content reviews, and help improve overall operational efficiency.

We are looking for candidates with:

1. Professional Skills: A good sense of design aesthetics and proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools. A portfolio of past work (preferably video thumbnails or graphic design works) must be attached with the application.

2. Platform Familiarity: Understanding of the rules, optimal posting times, and algorithms of platforms like Bilibili, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Video Channels, and Weibo (ASX: WB-SW), with the ability to quickly adapt to multi-platform operations.

3. Online Trend Awareness & Style Grasp: A strong sense for internet trends, familiarity with current popular video styles and trends, and the ability to create content that appeals to young users.

4. Communication Skills: Good communication and expression skills, able to collaborate efficiently with team members (e.g., directors/producers), accept feedback, and iterate improvements.

5. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or above, with preference given to current juniors, seniors, or postgraduate students. Background in design, media, marketing, or related fields is preferred. Relevant internship experience or personal account operation experience is a plus.

6. Other: Proactive and responsible. The internship should last at least 3 months. Full-time or remote work arrangements can be negotiated.
