MINIEYE’s 2025 ESG Report Reveals RMB332.60 Million R&D Spend, RMB65.00 Million First-Year L4 Revenue and Net-Zero Roadmap

MINIEYE (02431.HK) has published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, detailing progress across governance, environmental stewardship and social responsibility for the 12 months to 31 December 2025. The document, approved by the board on 31 March 2026, is prepared in accordance with the HKEX ESG Reporting Code. Key disclosures are summarised below.

ESG GOVERNANCE

• Three-tier structure—Board, Strategy Committee and ESG Working Group—oversees policy, target-setting and execution. All directors completed specialised sustainability training during the year.

• Fifteen material topics were confirmed through a survey of 145 stakeholders; top priorities include product safety, technological innovation, labour management and data privacy.

INNOVATION & ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION

• Total R&D investment reached RMB332.60 million, supporting six research centres and a 545-strong R&D team (85.0 % with bachelor’s degree or above).

• L4 business entered commercial scale: driverless minibuses and “Bamboo Robovan” logistics vehicles generated RMB65.00 million in their first revenue-generating year.

• Accolades include Gao Gong Intelligent “Annual Mass Production Pioneer Award” and Gasgoo “China Automotive Supply Chain Top 100”.

PRODUCT QUALITY & DATA SECURITY

• Quality management certified to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ASPICE CL3, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434 and TISAX.

• Zero product recalls and 100 % closure of the 14 customer complaints logged in 2025; customer satisfaction score rose to 97/100.

• No information-security incidents or privacy breaches; company-wide training covered 813 participants.

• Intellectual-property portfolio expanded to 252 valid patents/trademarks and 114 software copyrights.

SOCIAL PERFORMANCE

• Workforce totalled 813 (605 male, 208 female), with turnover at 18.04 %.

• Training participation covered 100 % of employees, averaging 12.67 hours per person.

• No cases of child or forced labour; no work-related fatalities or injuries recorded for the third consecutive year.

• Community contributions included HKD10.00 million for Hong Kong fire relief and an international internship programme for six Singaporean students.

ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE

• Energy consumption totalled 10,242.13 MWh; green electricity accounted for 49.3 % of purchased power.

• Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse-gas emissions reached 2,660.92 tCO₂e, equal to 3.51 tCO₂e per RMB1 million of revenue; Scope 3 (business travel and commuting) added 1,367.26 tCO₂e.

• Environmental capex amounted to RMB0.20 million; solid-waste resource-utilisation rate hit 88 %.

• Targets include a 5 % reduction in energy-intensity and 2 % cut in water-intensity by 2033 (base year 2023), alongside carbon-neutral Scope 1&2 operations.

SUPPLY-CHAIN RESPONSIBILITY

• Supplier base totals 164, with 67.68 % located in Guangdong. All suppliers sign Integrity and Confidentiality Agreements, and are required to hold ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.

• Zero violations of supplier code of conduct were reported in 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS OF CLIMATE RISKS

• Scenario analysis (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP5-8.5) identified heatwaves, flooding and regulatory shifts as principal risks; annual climate-risk budget stood at RMB0.10 million.

• A climate-response management team, led by a vice-president, monitors monthly carbon data and integrates transition planning into capital allocation.

The 2025 ESG Report positions MINIEYE for continued sustainable growth, underpinned by significant R&D investment, expanding autonomous-driving revenues and formalised pathways toward carbon neutrality.
