On the evening of July 31, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission issued an announcement detailing the latest fuel price adjustment. Since the previous domestic refined oil product price adjustment on July 17, international crude oil prices have experienced sharp fluctuations, initially surging before retreating, followed by a renewed upward push in recent days. The average price over the 10 working days before this adjustment was higher than the average over the 10 working days before the previous adjustment.
Reacting to changes in international oil market conditions, the National Development and Reform Commission has decided to raise domestic refined oil product prices starting from 24:00 on July 31, 2026. This means that, based on current prices, the cost of domestic gasoline and diesel (standard products) will increase by 685 yuan and 655 yuan per ton, respectively.
Following this price adjustment, the prices for various fuel grades in the region have been updated. For the National VIB standard, 89-octane gasoline has risen from 6.96 yuan per liter to 7.47 yuan per liter, increasing by 0.51 yuan per liter. The commonly used 92-octane gasoline has climbed from 7.48 yuan per liter to 8.03 yuan per liter, up 0.55 yuan per liter. Meanwhile, 95-octane gasoline has gone from 8.08 yuan per liter to 8.67 yuan per liter, an increase of 0.59 yuan per liter. For the National VI standard, 0-diesel for vehicles has risen from 7.13 yuan per liter to 7.69 yuan per liter, an increase of 0.56 yuan per liter.
All refined oil product operators are instructed to strictly adhere to and widely publicize the national fuel pricing policy, implement clear price tags, and display the prices of refined oil products in prominent locations. Local authorities are required to strengthen supervision and inspection of the adjusted fuel prices to effectively maintain normal market order. Consumers can report any price violations through the 12315 platform.
