Philadelphia Semiconductor Index Extends Record Rally with 1.8% Gain, Notching 17 Consecutive Advances

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index climbed 1.8% on Thursday, surpassing the key 10,000-point threshold and achieving a record-breaking 17-day winning streak. Among the index components, Texas Instruments (TXN.US) surged more than 15% following its earnings report. ON Semiconductor (ON.US) gained over 8%, while Analog Devices (ADI.US) and NXP Semiconductors (NXPI.US) advanced more than 4%. Marvell Technology (MRVL.US) and Intel (INTC.US) also rose more than 3%.
