Deep News2025-12-25

The latest data from Sina Finance's "Liquor Price Report" shows that the average retail prices of China's top 10 liquor products surged strongly on Thursday, significantly boosting market confidence. If one bottle of each top 10 product were bundled for sale, the total price today would be 9,201 yuan, up 70 yuan from the previous day, marking the highest level since November 26 and signaling strong year-end demand.

Driven by holiday season expectations and peak consumption trends, the market performed robustly with high trading activity. Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. led the rally: its premium product soared by 53 yuan per bottle, while its flagship Feitian Moutai rose by 9 yuan per bottle, reinforcing its dominance in high-end gifting and banquet markets. Other notable gainers included Qinghualang (+9 yuan), Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ (+9 yuan), Xijiu Junpin (+5 yuan), and Wuliangye Eighth Generation (+4 yuan), with most products extending multi-day rallies. Only a few products saw declines, such as Gujing Gongjiu 20 (-7 yuan), Crystal Jiannanchun (-5 yuan), Qinghua Fen 20 (-6 yuan), and Guojiao 1573 (-1 yuan).

The "Liquor Price Report" sources data from approximately 200 nationwide collection points, including authorized dealers, independent distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets, ensuring objective and traceable pricing insights.

In industry news, Moutai's recent price surge has drawn attention, particularly for non-standard products like aged and limited-edition liquors. A Jiangsu-based dealer noted, "Feitian's increase is modest, but premium lines like 15-year Moutai jumped 600 yuan per bottle in under a week." Dealers attribute the rally to reduced quotas and improved margins, though market outlooks remain cautious. Some suggest waiting post-New Year for clearer trends, while others anticipate further gains pending Moutai's upcoming distributor conference on December 28.
