The Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission has recently issued official approvals for the construction of three key electricity infrastructure projects: the 500kV Tongdu Substation Expansion Project, the 500kV Leye Substation Expansion Project, and the 500kV Wuding Power Transmission and Transformation Project. Details are as follows.
500kV Tongdu Substation Expansion Project
First, the 500kV Tongdu Substation Expansion Project has been included in the national "14th Five-Year" Power Development Plan. The project will help meet the new energy grid connection and transmission needs in the Qujing area and improve power supply reliability. Yunnan Power Grid Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yunnan Power Grid Company) serves as the project legal entity, responsible for project construction, operation, and repayment of loan principal and interest.
Second, the project site is located in Huize County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province.
Third, the construction content and scale are as follows. (1) Main transformer expansion: one 1000 MVA main transformer will be added at the 500kV Tongdu Substation, with two sets of 60 Mvar low-voltage capacitors configured on the low-voltage side of the new main transformer. (2) Outgoing line scale: one 220kV standby outgoing line bay will be added. (3) Supporting secondary system works will be constructed.
Fourth, the total investment for the 500kV Tongdu Substation Expansion Project is 65.33 million yuan, with a capital ratio of 20%, self-funded by Yunnan Power Grid Company, and the remaining portion to be financed through bank loans.
500kV Leye Substation Expansion Project
First, the 500kV Leye Substation Expansion Project has been included in the national "14th Five-Year" Power Development Plan. The project will meet the new energy transmission needs in the Qujing area and improve power supply reliability. Yunnan Power Grid Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yunnan Power Grid Company) serves as the project legal entity, responsible for project construction, operation, and repayment of loan principal and interest.
Second, the project site is located in Huize County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province.
Third, the construction content and scale are as follows. (1) Main transformer expansion: one 1000 MVA main transformer will be added in this phase at the 500kV Leye Substation, with one set of 60 Mvar capacitors configured on the low-voltage side of the new main transformer. (2) Supporting secondary system works will be constructed.
Fourth, the total investment for the 500kV Leye Substation Expansion Project is 59.63 million yuan, with a capital ratio of 20%, self-funded by Yunnan Power Grid Company, and the remaining portion to be financed through bank loans.
500kV Wuding Power Transmission and Transformation Project
First, the 500kV Wuding Power Transmission and Transformation Project has been included in the national "14th Five-Year" Power Development Plan. The project will help ensure new energy grid connection and transmission in the eastern part of Chuxiong Prefecture and improve power supply reliability. Yunnan Power Grid Company and China Southern Power Grid EHV Power Transmission Company are responsible for project construction, operation, and repayment of loan principal and interest.
Second, the project site is located in Wuding County, Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The transmission line passes through Wuding County, Mouding County, Yongren County, and Yuanmou County in Chuxiong Prefecture, as well as Luquan County in Kunming City.
Third, the construction content and scale are as follows. (1) New construction of the 500kV Wuding Substation: two 1000 MVA main transformers will be built at the 500kV Wuding Station, with five 500kV outgoing lines and five 220kV outgoing lines. Each main transformer will be equipped with three sets of 60 Mvar capacitors and two sets of 60 Mvar reactors on the low-voltage side. (2) Expansion of the 500kV Guanghui Station: one 500kV outgoing line bay will be added at the 500kV Guanghui Station connecting to the 500kV Wuding Station. (3) Renovation of the 500kV Tongdu Station: the names of two 500kV outgoing line bays, currently named "Kunbei," will be changed to "Wuding." Four sets of 500kV line protection devices will be replaced. (4) Renovation of the ±800kV Kunbei Converter Station: the names of two 500kV outgoing line bays, currently named "Kuntongdu," will be changed to "Wuding." Four sets of 500kV line protection devices will be replaced. (5) 500kV transmission line works: a new 500kV line from Wuding Station to Guanghui Station will be built, with a length of approximately 105 kilometers. The double-circuit line from Tongdu Station to the ±800kV Kunbei Converter Station will be cut into and connected to Wuding Station, with a new 500kV line length of approximately 143 kilometers. (6) Supporting communication and secondary system works will be constructed.
Fourth, the total investment for the 500kV Wuding Power Transmission and Transformation Project is 1,506.89 million yuan. The Kunbei Converter Station renovation and other works are the responsibility of China Southern Power Grid EHV Power Transmission Company, with an investment of 3.77 million yuan, a capital ratio of 20%, self-funded by China Southern Power Grid EHV Power Transmission Company, and the remaining portion to be financed through bank loans; other construction content is the responsibility of Yunnan Power Grid Company, with an investment of 1,503.12 million yuan, a capital ratio of 20%, self-funded by Yunnan Power Grid Company, and the remaining portion to be financed through bank loans.
