Recently, 30-year-old TVB actor Lau Chung-peng shared a video on social media with the caption "What a TVB actor does when there are no acting gigs," offering fans a glimpse into his life beyond acting. In the video, he mentioned: "With the current economic downturn, work isn’t consistent. I have to deal with daily expenses, rent, and car maintenance, which can sometimes feel overwhelming. But I firmly believe there’s always a way—so I take on part-time jobs whenever possible. I treat it like playing different roles, and this time, my role is a manual laborer."

Lau Chung-peng has previously appeared in TVB dramas such as "Forensic Heroes V," "The Enforcers," "Black Moonlight," and the upcoming "News Queen 2."
